Watching the news, reading the paper, listening to the radio, no matter where we turn we are confronted with the misery and sadness of the world; just as Habakkuk cried to God we often feel crushed by all we see around us. What can we do to stop it? We feel helpless and hopeless in face of this.
Because we are human and can not see the long view we think that God has forgotten us, and will not help. We see the constant repetition of events year after year and can not see the improvement. But there is always improvement, God is always with us. In the readings we see clues that God gives on faith and how it will help us always move forward in the face of despair. 28th Sunday Oct3
